Why is IMACO needed?

The world is more connected than ever, and Colorado is a hub of creative interactive talent that enhances those connections on a daily basis. The problem is, we’ve done a poor job of showcasing our collective abilities and collaborating around our beloved industry. Currently more than ¾ of the total population has Internet access and nearly 80% of them make purchasing decisions based on research they’ve conducted online. With more than 150 million blogs, nearly 300 million individual websites and 93% of marketers using social media for their business the Internet is a thoroughfare of information and a key channel of marketing for countless businesses, specifically in a tech-forward state like Colorado.

Thousands of Colorado businesses utilize the digital space to market their products and services, and hundreds of businesses in our state employing thousands of Coloradans provide internet marketing services – from advertising to social media strategy – for companies and organizations worldwide. The Internet Marketing Association of Colorado (IMACO) provides a gathering place for these businesses to share ideas, educate, and continue to innovate and move the Internet marketing industry forward.
